1. Introduction

Welcome to ITE (a.k.a. “we” or “us” or the “Company”). We value our visitors’ privacy. This privacy policy summarizes what information we might collect from a registered user or other visitor (“you”), and what we will and will not do with it. Please note that this privacy policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that ITE does not control, nor by individuals not employed or managed by ITE. If you visit a Web site that we mention or link to, be sure to review its privacy policy before providing the site with information.

This privacy policy covers the information we collect about you when you visit our web site, interact with it or interact with ITE in any kind of contact. (Like attending events organized by ITE).

This policy also explains how you can choose the way we can use your information, such us your objection of the use of some of your information, your access, updates, exports or to forget your information.

If you do not agree with our policy, do not access or use our website or interact with any other aspect of our business.

2. Types of information we collect

We collect two types of information. We collect information that you provide us and information for the moment you start using our website or any related platform.

2.1. Information you provide to us

We collect the information you provide to us via our contact forms in our web site pages. It is always up to you whether to disclose personally identifiable information to us, although if you elect not to do so, we reserve the right not to register you as a user or provide you with any products or services. Personally identifiable information means information that can be used to identify you as an individual, such as, for example:

  • your name, company, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address
  • your ITE user ID and password (if applicable)
  • any account-preference information you provide us
  • your computer’s browser software and version
  • your computer’s domain name and IP address, indicating where your computer is located on the Internet, and possibly your geographic location
  • session data for your login session, so that our computer can communicate with yours while you are logged in

*If you do provide personally identifiable information to us, either directly or through a reseller or other business partner, we will:

  • not sell or rent it to a third party without your permission – although unless you opt out (see below), we may use your contact information to provide you with information we believe you need to know or may find useful, such as (for example) news about our services and products and modifications to the Terms of Service;
  • take commercially reasonable precautions to protect the information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction;
  • not use or disclose the information except:
    • as necessary to provide services or products you have ordered, such as (for example) by providing it to a carrier to deliver products you have ordered;
    • in other ways described in this privacy policy or to which you have otherwise consented;
    • in the aggregate with other information in such a way so that your identity cannot reasonably be determined (for example, statistical compilations);
    • as required by law, for example, in response to a subpoena or search warrant;
    • to outside auditors who have agreed to keep the information confidential;
    • as necessary to enforce the Terms of Service;
    • as necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of ITE, its users, or others; this may include (for example) exchanging information with other organizations for fraud protection and/or risk reduction

2.2. Other information we collect

We may collect other information that cannot be readily used to identify you, such as (for example) the domain name and IP address of your computer. We may use this information, individually or in the aggregate, for technical administration of our Web site(s); research and development; customer- and account administration; and to help us focus our marketing efforts more precisely.

2.3. Cookies

ITE uses cookies to store personal data on your computer. We may also link information stored on your computer in cookies with personal data about specific individuals stored on our servers. If you set up your Web browser (for example, Internet Explorer or Firefox) so that cookies are not allowed, you might not be able to use some or all of the features of our Web site(s).

3. How we use information we collect

3.1. To provide the service and personalize your experience

We use information about you to be able to deliver you our services properly, in every phase of the service delivery since the sending of quotes to final delivery. We also use your information to personalize your experience on our website to give a unique and beneficial use of our website content. We may use your email domain to infer your affiliation with a particular organization or industry to personalize the content and experience you receive on our websites.

3.2. For research and development

We are always looking for ways to make our Services smarter, faster, secure, and adapted to your needs. We use collective learnings about how people use our Services and feedback provided directly to us to troubleshoot and to identify trends, usage, activity patterns and areas for integration and improvement of the Services. For example, we use analytics to identify which content provides better value to our customers to provide with similar content with more value.

3.3. To communicate with you about the services

We use your contact information to send transactional communications via email, on our website directly, via phone calls and via social media plateforms such as Messenger, viber, whatsupp and skype. And this is to remind you of services expiration, to respond to your comments, questions and requests, to provide customer support, and send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages. We also provide tailored communications based on your activity and interactions with us. For example, certain actions you take in the Services may automatically trigger a feature or third-party app suggestion within the Services that would make that task easier. We also send you communications as you onboard to a particular Service to help you become more proficient in using that Service. These communications are part of the Services and in most cases you cannot opt out of them. If an opt out is available, you will find that option within the communication itself or in your account settings.

3.4. To market, promote, and drive engagement

We use your contact information and information about how you use the Services to send promotional communications that may be of specific interest to you, including by email, as well as on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google. These communications are aimed at driving engagement and maximizing what you get out of the Services, including information about new features, survey requests, newsletters, and events we think may be of interest to you. We also communicate with you about new offers, promotions and contests. You can control whether you receive these communications.

3.5. Customer support

We use your information to resolve technical issues you encounter, to respond to your requests for assistance, to analyze crash information, and to repair and improve the Services.

3.6. For safety and security

We use information about you to verify accounts and activity, to monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity and to identify violations of Service policies.

3.7. For legal rights:

Where required by law or where we believe it is necessary to protect our legal rights, interests and the interests of others, we use information about you in connection with legal claims, compliance, regulatory, and audit functions, and disclosures in connection with the acquisition, merger or sale of a business.

3.8. With your consent

We use information about you where you have given us consent to do so for a specific purpose not listed above. For example, we may publish testimonials or featured customer stories to promote the Services, with your permission.

3.9. Legal bases for processing (for EEA users): 

If you are an individual in the European Economic Area (EEA), we collect and process information about you only where we have legal bases for doing so under applicable EU laws. The legal bases depend on the Services you use and how you use them. This means we collect and use your information only where:

  • We need it to provide you the Services, including to operate the Services, provide customer support and personalized features and to protect the safety and security of the Services;
  • It satisfies a legitimate interest (which is not overridden by your data protection interests), such as for research and development, to market and promote the Services and to protect our legal rights and interests;

  • We need to process your data to comply with a legal obligation.

If you have consented to our use of information about you for a specific purpose, you have the right to change your mind at any time, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place. Where we are using your information because we or a third party (e.g. your employer) have a legitimate interest to do so, you have the right to object to that use though, in some cases, this may mean no longer using the Services.

4. How we share information

In order to deliver our services with an efficient way, and to give you a unique experience in our website, we use tools that collects your information, other websites linked to our and other widgets.

4.1. Third party apps:

Third-party app policies and procedures are not controlled by us, and this privacy policy does not cover how third-party apps use your information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third parties before connecting to or using their applications or services to learn more about their privacy and information handling practices.

We are using convertfox, convertfull and landbot for our marketing campaigns. Those platforms are collecting your information from our website for our marketing funnels. We are also using Alore us our CRM to manage all the information about our clients.

As for our analytics, we are using google analytics and google search console to understand our website’s visitor’s behavior.

4.2. Links to third party sites:

The Services may include links that direct you to other websites or services whose privacy practices may differ from ours. Your use of and any information you submit to any of those third-party sites is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.

4.3. Third-Party Widget:

Our website contain widgets and social media features, such as the Twitter “tweet” button. These widgets and features collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on the Services, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Widgets and social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Services. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

4.5. With your consent:

We share information about you with third parties when you give us consent to do so.

4.6. Compliance with Enforcement Requests and Applicable Laws; Enforcement of our rights:

In exceptional circumstances, we may share information about you with a third party if we believe that sharing is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including to meet national security requirements, (b) enforce our agreements, policies and terms of service, (c) protect the security or integrity of our products and services, (d) protect ITE, our customers or the public from harm or illegal activities, or (e) respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person.

5. External data storage sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

We use data hosting service providers in the France, Roubaix to host the information we collect, and we use technical measures to secure your data. While we implement safeguards designed to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable and due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that data, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, is absolutely safe from intrusion by others.

6. How to access and control your information

You have the right to request a copy of your information, to object to our use of your information (including for marketing purposes), to request the deletion or restriction of your information, or to request your information in a structured, electronic format. You may send us an email support@ite.digital with an object “My information [your request]” to request your information in the form you need, to update or to edit your information, to stop using your information, to forget about you or to get your right of data portability.

7. Our policy towards children

The Services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact our support services.

8. Notice to users outside of Tunisia

ITE operations are located primarily in Tunisia. If you provide information to us, the information will be transferred out of your country to Tunisia. In addition, since the ITE service polls your AWS account periodically on your behalf, any information resulting from such polling is also likely to be transferred to Tunisia. In using the service and providing personal information to us, you are consenting to its storage and use as described herein.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy as we deem necessary or appropriate because of legal compliance requirements or changes in our business practices. If you have provided us with an email address, we will endeavor to notify you, by email to that address, of any material change to how we will use personally identifiable information.
